uncomfortable ridge poor communication
I was looking forward to a relaxing stay, but a couple of things let it down. the bed, while large, was actually two beds pushed together. This created an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. also, the full english breakfast was just okay. The omelette and eggs florentine seemed much better but i didn't have them. the early morning fire alarm at 6am on easter sunday was a very rude awakening. Nobody gave clear guidance to those who left their rooms. there was poor staff communication too.

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast had great options. I found dinner and beer very good. I loved the free parking. It helped a lot. The bed in my room was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great features. I found the internet connected TV a nice addition. Free WiFi service worked great. The location proved very central. The room was nice. The room was clean and spacious. The staff members were friendly.
The check-in happens at the bar. This area gets noisy. It can be a little hard to hear instructions.

firm bed impersonal service
the room, it was lovely at first. but the bed was honestly too firm. i found the pillows lumpy and not conducive to a great sleep. also, the breakfast service felt a little impersonal, as if the staff just wanted to get through it. THE selection wasn't bad, but the overall experience lacked warmth.
